Responsibilities:
Meeting with technology managers to determine application and website requirements.
Upgrading existing .NET websites and applications.
Developing technical specifications.
Make regular modifications to existing software for error correction, adaptation to new hardware
and to improve overall function and
performance
Evaluate new code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security
and metrics
Create and direct software system testing procedures, documentation and programming to ensure
all software is properly developed
and regularly tested for quality assurance
Integrate data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) and Microsoft MVP Program Certifications would be
an added benefit.
5+ years of design and development experience of C# .NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic.NET, C++/CLI, J#,
and JScript.NET, Microsoft SQL
Server in an n-tier architecture.
Proficient with front-end development languages including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Strong background in object oriented development techniques
Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices, e.g. SOA
Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and
workarounds
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Experience with concurrent development source control (Git) and continuous integration (Gitlab)
