شرح موقعیت شغلی

The Head of Planning and Projects (H/PP) is responsible for corporate and system planning and for managing the implementation of projects to specification, time and budget

 Reporting to: CEO

:The H/PP’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Design and implementation of generation, transmission, and distribution of Effective programms
Development of Power System Planning Criteria
Corporate or business plan
Power System Planning
Generation and network adequacy analysis & planning
Load flow analysis
Long term network expansion and upgrade analysis and planning
Integrated Resource (Least Cost) Planning
Local capacity building
Participates in making long-range plans for design, layout, developments and maintenance of generation, transmission and distribution lines and equipment
Coordinates planning and project implementation in conjunction with other LEC departments, other participating government departments, other utilities and Governmental agencies, and contractors
Identify and implement best practice planning and electrification methods to suit Liberia’s energy sector
Manage generation, transmission and distribution projects
Participate in West Africa Power Pool activities
Develop and update existing power sector plans
Any other request from Management with regards to fulfilling utility planning and management objectives

 

:Requirments

 

Candidate should demonstrate substantial experience supporting utilities in developing countries to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all elements of corporate and system planning as well as project planning and management

Engineering degree or similar qualification

Proven knowledge and competence in the energy environment in developing countries

10or more years’ experience in utility management and planning

Fluency in English
