About the role:

You Have:

• Desire to coach and develop others
• Strong ownership and accountability for your work
• Communicate well in a fully remote team
• Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Passion for building technical solutions for ambiguous problems
• Strong knowledge of GoLang
• Good knowledge of Microservices
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases and NoSQL databases
• 3+ years experience writing production-ready software
  
  

You Will:

• Design, develop, launch, and operate new backend services and features on Cloud Native infrastructure
• Influence the team's architecture and software development best practices
• Support the team in operating and improving its critical customer-facing systems
• Collaborate with several engineering and product teams across the company to deliver end-to-end features
• Participate in both product and technical design reviews to refine requirements and assess trade-offs
• Promote software development best practices and engineering excellence across teams
  
  

Bonus Points:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or related engineering or mathematical focus
• Experience or familiarity with Node.js
• Knowledge of developing, scaling, and deploying large-scale systems with an advanced understanding of system performance and tuning
