DevOps Engineer  Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Afarinesh Royaye Hambazi


We’re looking for a highly experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and operations. If you thrive in managing scalable, secure, and highly available systems — and love automating everything from deployments to monitoring — we’d love to hear from you!



You’ll collaborate with a global team on exciting projects where infrastructure, security, and automation are mission-critical. This role is key to ensuring our platforms remain resilient, performant, and secure.



What You’ll Be Doing


Infrastructure & Server Management


  • Manage and scale Azure-based infrastructure and services
  • Support AWS environments (EC2, EKS, S3) as needed
  • Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters (Azure AKS / Amazon EKS)
  • Automate infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance

Cloud Platform Expertise


  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services: VMs, AKS, Blob Storage, Monitor, IAM, etc.
  • Familiarity with AWS: EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, ALB, IAM
  • Strong experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)
DevOps Best Practices


  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
  • Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability systems
Security & Compliance


  • Manage access controls: SSH keys, Bastion hosts, IAM roles and policies
  • Apply security updates and conduct vulnerability scans
  • Use tools like AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, or SSM for secrets management
Automation & Scripting


  • Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible
  • Set up health checks, autoscaling, and scheduled jobs
Monitoring & Logging


  • Implement centralized logging (e.g., ELK, Loki, CloudWatch Logs, Azure Monitor)
  • Configure alerts, dashboards, and service health metrics

What You Should Bring


  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles
  • Strong background in Microsoft Azure services
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, IAM)
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation scripting
  • Solid Linux/Unix systems administration skills
  • Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, and TLS
  • A security-first mindset with a focus on cost optimization
  • (Bonus) Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with Golang
