Responsibilities

• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards
• Process flows and sitemaps
• Designing graphic user interface elements & building navigation components like menus, tabs, and widgets
• To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
• Develops sketches, screen layout, and visual components to effectively communicate design ideas to project objectives
  
  

Requirements

• Strong typography and graphic design skills
• Strong understanding of photography and color theory
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite specifically: Photoshop, In-Design & Illustrator programs
• Expert understanding of the web development production process
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery and an expert understanding of current Internet standards, including  web browsers and browser specifications, responsive design, and mobile design
• Understanding of motion design and emerging technologies/platforms
• 3+ years of visual design experience at start-ups is a plus
