About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and work on our core project, Shoraka. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing scalable APIs independently using the API-First methodology and building robust backend architectures without external support.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end design and implementation of scalable APIs following the API First approach
- Independently architect backend systems and database structures
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers
- Provide multiple scalable solutions for system design challenges
- Optimize database queries and improve system performance
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices in backend development
What We’re Looking For:
- Senior-level experience in backend development
- Expertise in Python and FastAPI
- Strong knowledge of SQLAlchemy, SQLModel, and Alembic
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL, database design principles, and performance optimization
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to propose multiple solutions
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
- Effective time management skills
