شرح موقعیت شغلی

 • Responsible for running and terminating fiber optic and copper cables.
• Pulling cables and mounting devices inside the data center racks.
• Respond to requests to connect new circuits and troubleshoot existing circuits from internal teams.
• Responsible for basic maintenance of HVAC equipment and electrical systems located within our Data Centers.
• respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems
• Performs assigned installations as instructed and following established codes, rules, and norms for the industry (including TIA 568 & TIA 942).
• Provides timely and completed documentation of work performed.


About the job

As a data center engineer, you are responsible for cabling (copper and fiber optics), installing active network equipment inside racks, labeling, documenting, and maintaining it. Cabling should be built according to cabling standards and using appropriate equipment such as patch cord, patch panel, cable management and ... . It is also the responsibility of the person to check the data center infrastructure equipment daily (such as electrical and cooling system) and, if necessary, to take initial steps to resolve the problems. You’ll install hardware (like servers and its components) .A typical day involves installation of active and passive network devices, and while it can sometimes be physically demanding, you are excited to work with infrastructure that is at the edge of 

 


Requirements


 • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, IT, Telecommunication Engineering or other related fields or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working within a data center or other mission critical environments.
• Experience with Structured Cabling Standards.
• Familiar with and networking protocols and Devices.
• Ability to create and update technical documentations.
• 3+ years’ related experience
• Experience with AutoCAD, Visio.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• On-Call: including nights and weekends
• Experience with crimping and labeling and the usage of patch panels, fiber optic connectors, optic types, and form factors
