Role Overview

We are hiring a Social Media Marketing Manager whose main mission is to grow Action Model’s social media presence across platforms by consistently finding, developing, and executing strong content ideas.This person will be responsible for identifying what is working on social media, researching trends, developing video concepts, writing scripts, preparing content plans, and managing the process of turning ideas into published content.The ideal candidate understands what captures human attention online: strong hooks, retention, storytelling, visual pacing, emotional triggers, trending formats, and platform-native content styles. They should be able to spot trends early, adapt them to our sector, and turn them into content that drives views, engagement, followers, and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Content Ideation & Research

• Research trending topics, viral video formats, social media trends, memes, hooks, and platform-specific content styles.

• Identify new content opportunities relevant to Action Model, AI, automation, Web3, future of work, productivity, and technology.

• Study competitor accounts, creator accounts, startup accounts, AI influencers, and high-performing brands to understand what content is working.

• Build a continuous pipeline of video ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

• Translate trends into original content ideas that fit our brand, audience, and sector.

• Understand what makes people stop scrolling, keep watching, engage, share, and follow.

Video Concept Development

• Create detailed video briefs for each content idea, including:

• Hook , Core message , Script , Visual direction , Caption , CTA , Required assets , Editing notes
Platform recommendation

• Prepare content so that a video creator, editor, designer, or presenter can easily execute it.

• Record videos directly when needed, especially for simple talking-head, screen-recording, or trend-based content.

• Help develop recurring content formats, series, and templates that can scale across multiple accounts.

Content Planning & Scheduling

• Build weekly and monthly social media content calendars.

• Plan content around product launches, company announcements, trends, campaigns, and key narratives.

• Coordinate posting schedules across different platforms.

• Ensure a consistent flow of content across all social channels.

• Manage the content pipeline from idea → script → asset preparation → recording/editing → approval → publishing.

Social Media Account Growth

• Help manage and grow company social media accounts.

• Monitor performance of posts and videos to understand what is working.

• Use analytics to improve future content ideas, hooks, formats, timing, and platform strategy.

• Test different content styles and report learnings.

• Recommend new growth tactics for each platform.

• Support community engagement by identifying comments, conversations, and content opportunities.

Asset & Script Preparation

• Write clear, engaging scripts for short-form and long-form social videos.

• Prepare supporting materials such as screenshots, screen recordings, references, links, captions, thumbnails, and creative notes.

• Work with video editors/designers to make sure content is executed properly.

• Maintain a library of content ideas, hooks, references, competitor examples, and reusable formats.

Brand & Market Understanding

• Develop a strong understanding of Action Model’s mission, products, audience, and positioning.

• Stay updated on AI, automation, productivity, crypto/Web3, creator economy, future of work, and startup trends.

• Ensure content feels relevant, modern, sharp, and aligned with the brand.

• Help turn complex ideas into simple, entertaining, and shareable social media content.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing or growing social media accounts.

• Strong understanding of short-form video platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and LinkedIn.

• Excellent ability to identify trends and turn them into relevant content ideas.

• Strong writing skills, especially for hooks, scripts, captions, and short-form storytelling.

• Good understanding of audience psychology, retention, engagement, and viral content mechanics.

• Ability to research quickly and turn insights into actionable content plans.

• Highly organized, able to manage calendars, schedules, briefs, and multiple content ideas at once.

• Comfortable working with video creators, editors, designers, and internal teams.

• Bonus: ability to record simple videos, screen recordings, voiceovers, or talking-head content.

• Bonus: experience in AI, tech, crypto, Web3, startups, productivity, or automation.

Ideal Candidate

You can take a broad topic and turn it into 10 strong content ideas. You are not just a scheduler or account admin. You are a creative engine for social growth.
