About Melli Gold:
Melli Gold is a fintech startup operating at the intersection of the gold market and financial technology. We design and develop an intelligent and secure infrastructure for sourcing, trading, and managing gold flows in Iran.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Lead to lead a strategic product area within Melli Gold
The Product Lead will be responsible for defining product strategy, owning product and business outcomes, and leading the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch, optimization, and scale
You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Business, Operations, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to build scalable financial products that create measurable value for both customers and the business
You will also lead and support Product Managers, establish strong product management practices, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Product Lead will be responsible for defining product strategy, owning product and business outcomes, and leading the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch, optimization, and scale
You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Business, Operations, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to build scalable financial products that create measurable value for both customers and the business
You will also lead and support Product Managers, establish strong product management practices, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product strategy, vision, priorities, and roadmap for the assigned product area.
- Own key product and business outcomes, identifying opportunities for growth, revenue, and customer value.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from Discovery and Ideation through Launch, Optimization, and Scale.
- Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers while establishing strong product management practices and clear ownership.
- Use customer insights, market research, and product analytics to identify opportunities and drive data-informed decisions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Business, Operations, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product execution.
- Drive continuous product improvement while balancing customer value, business impact, scalability, risk, and execution speed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably within FinTech, Financial Services, Technology, or platform-based businesses.
- Proven experience leading complex products, product areas, or product teams, with ownership of measurable business outcomes.
- Proven experience managing, coaching, and mentoring Product Managers.
- Strong expertise in Product Strategy, Product Discovery, Roadmap Ownership, and end-to-end Product Development.
- Strong data fluency, business acumen, and experience using product analytics and experimentation to drive decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience in Digital Wallet, Payments, Lending & Credit, WealthTech, Banking/Neobanking, Marketplace/Platform, or SaaS products is strongly preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field
