About the Role:

We're looking for a sharp, business-savvy Product Designer to join the team building Meli Gold — a national gold e-commerce platform. You'll operate at the intersection of design craft, product strategy, and commercial thinking.This isn't a pixel-pusher role. You'll be expected to think like a product owner, influence strategy, and drive quality end-to-end from discovery to delivery.

What You'll Do:

  • Own end-to-end design for key product areas of the Meli Gold platform — from early strategy and problem framing through to polished, production-ready execution.
  • Produce high-quality product documentation, including design specs, user flows, decision logs, and product briefs that act as a source of truth for the team.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships effectively — align cross-functional partners, facilitate productive design reviews, and advocate for user needs with clarity and confidence.
  • Continuously gather and synthesize user insights and behavioral data to validate hypotheses and inform design decisions.
  • Oversee implementation quality — work closely with engineers to communicate design intent, handle edge cases, and ensure the final product meets design standards.
  • Act as a product thinker — challenge assumptions, identify strategic opportunities, and push for solutions that balance user needs with business outcomes.
  • Champion a user-centered mindset across the team — reframe conversations around customer needs and keep user empathy at the center of every decision.
