As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Django Software Engineer to enhance our backend systems and drive innovation.


About the Role


As a Senior Django Software Engineer , you will play a key role in scaling and optimizing our backend architecture. You'll be responsible for ensuring our platform remains secure, high-performing, and future-ready as we expand our services.


Key Responsibilities


  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using Django.
  • Performance & Scalability: Optimize APIs, databases ( PostgreSQL ), and caching layers ( Redis ) for high-traffic transactions.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure best practices for secure transactions and data protection.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to align on business and technical goals.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Enhance development workflows with robust CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Django and Python .
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, Celery, and RabbitMQ .
  • Strong database expertise in PostgreSQL , including query optimization and indexing.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience handling high-traffic applications and financial transaction systems.
Nice to Have


  • Knowledge of security best practices in financial applications.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures .
