We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality web applications and scalable frontend architectures. In this role, you will take ownership of critical parts of the frontend stack, collaborate closely with product and backend teams, and help shape the technical direction of our platform.
You will work primarily with Next.js, React, and modern frontend tooling to build performant, maintainable, and user-centric applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable frontend architecture using Next.js and React
- Build high-performance, responsive, and accessible web applications
- Lead the development of complex features end-to-end
- Improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and overall frontend performance
- Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
- Mentor and support other developers on the team
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
- Improve CI/CD workflows and development processes
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Solid experience with Next.js in production environments
- Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and hybrid rendering
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Experience working with REST APIs or GraphQL
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows
- Experience with component-based architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building large-scale or high-traffic applications
- Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
- Experience with design systems or component libraries
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Familiarity with Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with micro-frontends or monorepos is a plus
