شرح موقعیت شغلی

A back-end engineer is generally responsible for building the structure of a software application. They'll primarily spend time writing business logic, server scripts, and application programming interfaces (APIs) that will eventually be utilized by front-end engineers, mobile developers, and UX designers. They work with peers on teams dedicated to areas of the product. They work together with product managers, designers, and front-end engineers to solve common goals.



 



Responsibilities:



  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Design and implementation of data storage solutions
  • Develop features and improvements to the FlashBox product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
  • Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering (Front-end, UX, etc.) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
  • Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
  • Conduct Code Review within our Code Review Guidelines and ensure community contributions receive a swift response.
  • Recognize impediments to our efficiency as a team ("technical debt"), propose and implement solutions
  • Represent FlashBox and its values in public communication around specific projects and community contributions.
  • Confidently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
  • Participate in Tier 2 or Tier 3 weekday and weekend and occasional night on-call rotations to assist troubleshooting product operations, security operations, and urgent engineering issues.

Basic Qualifications



  • At least three years of experience in PHP.
  • In-depth knowledge of Laravel and Lumen.
  • Ability to work with MySQL and writing queries.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and Redis.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and practices.
  • Experience and familiarity with git or other version control software.
  • Experience with Linux and the command line.
  • General experience with containerization and Docker.
  • Understanding of service-oriented architecture and microservices.
  • Intermediate level in the English language.

 Preferred Qualifications



  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with Node.js.
