About Us

Taskulu helps thousands of businesses around the world every day to manage their tasks, communicate and be more productive.

We are looking for a senior Python developer to join our team.

As a senior Python developer, you will be working on building RESTful APIs and integrating Taskulu with third-party services. The product you make will serve thousands of customers on a daily basis.

What we're looking for

As a Python developer within our team, you will be working closely with our Backend, Frontend, and Product colleagues to build a state-of-the-art product.
Good communication and conflict management skills - You are expected to work and communicate with the other teams regularly.
The ability to write well formatted, structured, and clean code.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desire to learn new technologies and tools needed for building the product.

What we expect you to have experience with

At least 5 years of experience in server-side development
Proficiency in building and maintaining REST APIs with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Strong knowledge of Python 3 and its async features
Strong knowledge of OOP
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Relational Databases
Strong knowledge of SQLAlchemy (or any other ORM)
Experience in writing API and unit tests
Experience with Caching strategies
Experience in troubleshooting performance issues
Git
Scrum
Bonus: Experience with Docker and Gitlab CI
Bonus: Experience with NGINX, PostgreSQL, and Redis
Bonus: Experience with Ruby
