Funtory is looking for a Game Designer who can help drive the creation of new features on some of Funtory’s top games.

WHO YOU ARE:
You own, drive, and communicate the vision for major design initiatives. You have a passion for games and are eager to
master your craft in game design. You have a great sense of what makes a fun and snackable gameplay experience for a
mass audience.
● Passionate about finding trends, gameplay, and game mechanics
● Be able to deconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanics.
● Creative problem-solving skills to address a diversity of game design issues every day, including but not limited to
gameplay, meta-game, levels, interface, etc
● Understanding of models and tools to analyze gameplay and user behavior.
● Highly data-oriented and not afraid of Excel charts and numbers.
● Great communication skills
● Versatile, can adapt quickly, and move fast
WHAT IS THE JOB:
You will be part of an agile team focused on iterating dozens of new gameplay ideas a year. You will strongly impact the
launches and have unique opportunities to reach hundreds of millions of users. With your own twist, you’ll approach
gameplay ideas/features in an innovative way.
● Design games from A to Z: gameplay, FTUE, levels, environments, reward systems, difficulty, balancing, etc.
● Get involved in all aspects of game development..
● Help fine-tune game balancing, pacing, and final feeling.
● Monitor and improve game metrics and monetization.
● Optimize the game creation process continuously.
