About the Role
The Operations Data Analysis Team Lead at TAPSI plays a crucial role in leading the team responsible for analyzing high-velocity data to drive real-time decision-making and optimize operations. This position involves overseeing the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets generated from various sources, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of insights. The Team Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Product, to implement data-driven strategies that improve performance, enhance customer experience, and support business growth. A key focus of this role is to develop efficient data pipelines and analysis methodologies, ensuring that actionable insights are delivered swiftly to meet the company’s fast-paced demands.
Tasks in detail:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Extract, audit, and cleanse data required for decision-making, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data on the data platform.
- Conduct and oversee deep-diving data analysis for business insights and recommendations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation based on findings to present to stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and implement metrics, midtables, and dashboards to improve performance, reduce costs, or inform key business decisions.
- Run exploratory data analysis using statistical methodology and create data models.
- Research, find, and adopt new tools or packages to improve data processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in data analysis agility and methodology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data analysis with business goals and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure the team stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data analysis and visualization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Python or R.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data insights into business value.
- Hands-on experience with statistical and analytical methods.
- Exceptional presentation and written communication skills, especially in data visualization and storytelling.
- Experience with A/B testing design and evaluation methods.
- Familiarity with machine learning models and error-analysis techniques.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Fluency in Tableau is a plus.
