Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our leadership team. As a key executive member, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the company’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and leading engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the company’s overall technology vision and strategy in line with business goals.
Lead the design and evolution of the technical architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
Make high-level infrastructure and architectural decisions, ensuring technical excellence, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
Oversee all engineering and technical delivery, from roadmap planning to execution.
Ensure close collaboration across departments (Product, Business, Operations, Data, etc.) to drive strategic initiatives.
Align technology strategy with product and engineering roadmaps.
Partner closely with executive leadership to understand business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Lead and mentor engineering leaders, fostering a strong engineering culture and best practices.
Oversee data security, data management, and governance, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and applying them where they create business value.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CTO, Engineering Director, Head of Engineering, or Senior Tech Lead in a growing or complex organization.
Strong background in software engineering, including hands-on knowledge of modern languages, frameworks, and development practices.
Deep understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and scalable systems.
Ability to connect technology decisions with business outcomes and growth strategy.
Experience managing complex technical projects, prioritizing initiatives, and delivering results on time.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic mindset with a pragmatic, execution-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

Experience in fast-growing startups or scale-up environments.
Experience building and leading distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
Background in data-driven products, fintech, marketplace, or platform-based businesses.
