About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our backend development team by facilitating monthly feedback sessions, driving employee growth, and aligning HR strategies with technical objectives. You will work closely with the backend chapter to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Monthly Feedback Sessions: Conduct structured 1:1 and team feedback sessions for the backend chapter, focusing on performance, skill development, and career growth.
- Track Progress: Utilize tools like Jira, OKRs, or similar platforms to monitor feedback outcomes and employee development metrics.
- Employee Development: Partner with backend leads to design individualized growth plans, identifying training needs and opportunities.
- Culture & Engagement: Promote a positive, inclusive team environment, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment with company values.
- HR Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with leadership to integrate HR initiatives with technical goals, ensuring seamless support for the backend chapter.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze feedback data to provide actionable recommendations for improving team performance and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years as an People Partner or similar role, preferably in a tech or software development environment.
- Skills:
- Strong facilitation and communication skills for conducting feedback sessions.
- Familiarity with tech tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or OKR platforms) is a plus.
- Ability to understand backend development workflows and technical challenges.
- Proficiency in data analysis to track and report on feedback metrics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.
