شرح موقعیت شغلی

The OpenStack Engineer role ensures a well-managed and supported OpenStack environment including design, architecture, installation, configuration, rapid deployment, scalability, automation, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Works with the Architects and Developers on the design and development of new services.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
• OpenStack design, architecture, installation/deployment, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and optimize workloads across availability zones
• Collaborate with IT Security to implement cloud-related security and compliance policies
• Coordinate OpenStack upgrades
• Maintain OpenStack infrastructure user access roles, cloud integration and automation workflow documentation and standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills
• Skill in managing and maintaining VMs and virtualization related technologies, including Configuration Management tools
• Proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of systems, including systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices

Qualifications:
Minimum:
• Generally 5 years of related experience OR generally 3 years of related experience if candidate has an advanced degree
• Must have at least 3 years experience working on medium to large OpenStack deployment
• Expert in OpenStack Nova, Neutron, Glance, Horizon, Keystone, Cinder, Ceilometer, Heat
• Experience in a multi-tiered, distributed and diverse infrastructure and in large environments
• Must be familiar with the concept of software defined networking and NFV.
• High level of experience with automation, x86 servers, storage systems, and network systems
• Ability to work with minimal direction, yet able to work in a team environment
• Strong Scripting and Orchestration skills
• Strong Linux Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Familiar with ETSI NFV Model
• Networking experience OpenContrail, Juniper, Fortigate , and Cisco
• Experience using Jira and Agile practices
• UCS Server Infrastructure Management
• Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

• Containers (Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift) expx86
• Ansible exp
