Responsibilities:

  • Legal Advisory: Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management on a variety of legal matters affecting the organization's operations and business.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on the legal aspects of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for the company’s operations, reducing risk of legal challenges and sanctions.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee disputes and litigation involving the company,including liaising with external lawyers and advising on legal risks and strategies.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures on legal and compliance matters.
  • Intellectual Property: Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
  • Corporate Governance: Advise on corporate governance practices and directors'responsibilities, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal standards.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate legal risks across the organization.
  • Training: Provide training to company staff on legal risk and compliance.
Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a legal manager position or a similar role within a
  • corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
  • A strong track record of managing legal disputes and litigation.
  • Familiarity with the industry the company operates in and its specific legal challenges.
