Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining and improving SnappBox's infrastructure while collaborating closely with a dynamic and supportive team. If you are passionate about building stable systems and have some initial experience in areas like virtualization, networking, storage, and infrastructure services, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the stability of SnappBox's infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the team to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure services
  • Assist in managing and optimizing virtualization platforms
  • Participate in automating infrastructure processes to improve efficiency
  • Support the setup and maintenance of load balancers
  • Help deploy and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters
  • Contribute to implementing monitoring and log management systems
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure Engineer)
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM)
  • Experience in infrastructure automation (using tools like Ansible or Terraform)
  • Knowledge of message broker systems (e.g., RabbitMQ)
  • A foundational understanding of setting up and configuring load balancers (e.g., HAProxy)
  • Basic familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) 
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
  • Exposure to event streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka) is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of key-value databases (e.g., Redis)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • A foundational understanding of networking, storage, and infrastructure best practices
