About the Role

As a software test engineer, you’re daily struggling with testing newly developed and fixed bugs of previous features. This includes performing acceptance tests, writing new test cases, and all other options which makes you almost sure that the feature will not make an issue in production. This job is for you if you’re passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, analytical, and possess a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

Test products across platforms and browsers
Find bugs and properly report them
Participate in requirements reviews, backlog refinements, and testing activities
Develop test plans for new features as they are planned and developed
Use related tools to prepare detailed bug reports
Prioritize test cases and define bug severity
Perform Exploratory testing as required
Perform demos of new product functionality to stakeholders
Learn and share knowledge with other team members

Your Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of software testing experience, preferably in an agile environment
Strong analytical view with a problem-solving attitude
Quick learner, with a willingness to dive in and learn everything required
Familiar with Postman and Swagger
Familiar with task management tools (e.g. Jira) and test management tools (e.g. TestRail)
Familiar with concepts of web-based applications and APIs
Teamwork skills including communication skills
Experience in writing SQL queries
Strong software debugging skills
Good English language skills
Familiar with CI/CD concepts
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in one programming language like Python
Knowledge of Robot Framework and Selenium
