About the Team

Data Team plays a key role in driving the business of Snapp. Gathering data from each part of the company, integrating different kinds of information into a well-designed data lake, and also analyzing data and providing management dashboards and KPI metrics are among the daily tasks of the team. To achieve this mission, not only cooperation to other team members including data scientists, DevOps engineers, BI experts is a must, but also collaboration to other teams in Snapp is inevitable and it’s the exactly point that made the team as dynamic and active as possible.


Job Description

In our Data Team, we provide various types of reports and analytical support to other teams. As a Junior BI Developer, you need to enjoy learning latest technologies and reporting tools. You will be required to handle business and analytical requirements in a fast and efficient manner. Also, you will learn and deploy data pipelines to merge data into a single source; e.g. SQL Server.

Moreover, you will help Seniors and generate new analytical reports via queries to SQL or other sources of data.For this role we expect you to be able to communicate and cooperate with other team members, especially seniors and be motivated and open to learning new tools and services in order to create and visualize reports by executing database queries and conducting analysis.

Requirements

Essentials

  • Less than 4 year’s experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or related degree
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with SSAS Tabular/ Multidimensional
  • Experience in Visualization tools like PowerBI, SSRS or any other related platform
  • Experience with DBMS system like MySQL/SQL server
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer

Desirable

  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Experience with Big Data/ Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Spark, … )
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology
  • Experience with Tuning Hypervisor (preferred VMware) for BI Stack
  • Experience with NOSQL like Clickhouse, Cassandra, Logstash, Kibana
