As Product Manager, • you will envision and execute on a vision, strategy, and roadmap to make Snapp Maps the best of its kind. • You will be responsible for the success of your program including overall metrics and business impact. • You will help your team shape their objectives, KPIs and roadmaps. • You bridge the gap between the real world and the world of engineering with helping the team learn about business aspects of their products and what makes users happy. • You strategize and maintain a prioritized bucket-list of the most effective ways we can achieve business goals. • You talk to our customers to understand how we can help them better. • You will assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
Responsibilities:
• You will work with the team to drive highly effective initiatives to grow, engage and retain our customers. • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to build efficiencies into the system. Challenge all members of the cross-functional team (engineering, design, etc.) to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans. • Make trade-off decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentation. • Drive innovation, definition, deliverable planning (roadmap) and design of entirely new products and product features to deliver against team and company goals. • Monitor and measure launched products and feed learning back into the product development process. • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to all employees. • Focus on building businesses, not features. Experience building and leading businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics. • Identify opportunities and key business requirements. • Set KPIs and monitor data to understand the impact of products and features on our customers and the business. • Lead product planning; collect data, evaluate potential opportunities and prioritize.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus hands-on software engineering experience. Masters/MBA-Good to have • At least two years of work experience • Must be fluent in English • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology • Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and stakeholders • Strong communication skills, ability to impedance-match to a variety of stakeholders. • Bias toward action, collaboration, optimism. • Data-driven: you always get the data you need, and you can distill it into an insightful story. Most importantly, you leverage data to drive strategic decisions. • Technical skills: Ability to inform and evaluate engineering decisions. • Organized, self-driven, able to operate independently. • Assertive but diplomatic: This role requires someone who can represent the team as a whole externally, with presence and confidence. • Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization, acute flexibility in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth. • Experience driving the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions. • Prior experience in GIS or map-related products/fields. • Prior experience actively shaping an inclusive and positive culture for a growing tech team.
