About Snapp



Snapp is the pioneer provider of ride-hailing mobile solutions in Iran that connects smartphone owners in need of a ride to Snapp drivers who use their private cars offering transportation services. We are ambitious, passionate, engaged, and excited about pushing the boundaries of the transportation industry to new frontiers and be the first choice of each user in Iran.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders from different teams to provide custom detail-oriented dashboards and reports utilizing both traditional and ad-hoc BI reporting tools. The role conducts data analysis, performs detailed database queries, creates report and dashboard solutions needed by business or executive operations and assists with administration of the application platform.



  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems on Microsoft Tech Stack like SSRS/SSAS/SQL Server/Powerbi etc.
  • Communicate effectively with other teams to integrate systems or gather requirements
  • Develop and execute complex database queries and conduct analysis and come to conclusion via insights
  • Analyze complex data and create the report based on it 
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Requirements



  • Able to design, build and deploy BI solutions, e.g. reporting tools
  • Able to work and create model on SSAS Tabular Model (SSAS Multidimensional Experience is desirable too)
  • Ability to prepare Dataware house design and Troubleshoot DB Performance Issues 
  • Able to help, train and lead juniors and break down barriers to progress
  • Should be able to create ETL Pipelines on SSIS
  • Experience with SSAS Tabular/Multidimensional 
  • Experience in ETL Tools like Kettle/SSIS
  • Experience with DBMS system like MySQL/SQL server
  • SQL Server and Analysis service (Tabular) performance Tuning
  • Experience in Visualization tools like PowerBI, SSRS or any other related platform
  • Big Data/ Hadoop ecosystem
  • SQL Knowledge
  • Experience in Python
  • Leadership and Teamwork Qualities
