About the Role

Working in our Business Intelligence Systems Team you’ll provide analytical and development support to a wide range of business teams. Using the very latest technologies and practices, you’ll help progress our data warehousing projects and initiatives.

You’ll be providing detailed analysis of business and technical requirements ensuring all development solutions deliver the best possible experience for customers and the business. This will require you to be able to communicate effectively at all levels including Managers, Senior Developers, users and other systems departments.

With a flexible and positive approach, you’ll be willing to provide out-of-hours support and occasionally will be required on site during key seasonal events and busy periods. You’ll also be able to build and share your technical expertise, playing your part in helping the team develop the best possible technical knowledge and practices, supporting and coaching others within the team. There are flexible working options available for this role.

Requirements

Essential

  • At least 5 year’s impressive experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Solution and architecture.
  • Experience with Microsoft BI Stack covering integration services, analysis services (Tabular model) , reporting services and power BI server and desktop.
  • Experience in different approach of data warehouse design like Kimball, Inmon and ADA.
  • Experience in SQL Server and Analysis service (Tabular) performance Tuning.
  • Have experience to maintain BI Solution with SSIS, SQL, XMLA, TMSL, PowerShell, C# and etc.
  • Comfortable working on large scale projects, and can demonstrate your experience with scalable data warehousing and partitioning.
  • Highly motivated, you’ll have the ability and character to thrive in fast-paced environment and consistently meet challenging deadlines
  • Experience with source controller like Git or TFS
Desirable

  • Experience with Big Data/ Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Spark, … )
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology
  • Experience with Devops CI/CD
  • Experience with Tuning Hypervisor (preferred VMware) for BI Stack
  • Experience with SQL Server in Linux, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with NOSQL like Clickhouse, Cassandra, Logstash, Kibana
