:Core Responsibilities
Take a consultative role with hiring managers
Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like GitHub
Use a combination of recruiting techniques to creatively evaluate, network, and hire top tier talent
Recruit passive candidates and assess candidates for fit and motivation
Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates
Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment of talent that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new processes and fine-tuning current processes
Screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline
• Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers
Requirements
B.S. in IT, Software Engineer, Computer Science or relevant degree
+2 years’ experience as a developer
Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English
Strong networking abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet definite deadlines
Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation is a plus
Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting) is a plus
Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype and structured) is a plus
