شرح موقعیت شغلی

Snappbox is a disruptive on demand urban delivery platform in Iran, connecting any business with the largest fleet of delivery men of the country Only a few companies have right now access to high quality and low cost last mile delivery. At the same time, many bikers would like to work more but can’t find customers. We want to change this forever, through smart technologies and new standard of operations.

In this role, you will

  • Build developer-facing tooling and infrastructure that creates developer happiness and improves development velocity
  • Contribute to the platform development in JAVA with a focus on scalability and stability
  • Establishing communication and documentation best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle (development, deployment, and incident management)
  • Proactively testing the flexibility and resilience of the system (and keep improving our monitoring & observability)
  • Enable a high level of visibility into the state of services and infrastructure
  • Gathering and analyzing system metrics to assist in improving performance and finding faults
  • Define, document, and build ‘golden paths’ for teams to build services in a scalable, reliable, and secure way
  • Establish technically detailed triage/escalation/remediation procedures and tooling to automate them.
  • Assisting developers with the CI/CD pipeline and build tools
  • Providing operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications
  • Partnering with the product engineering teams to improve services
  • Driving DevOps mindset and collaboration within Engineering Department

Required Qualifications


  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience shipping commercial products and services, preferably in Java.
  • Familiar with the Spring framework
  • Familiar with Test automation practices and tools
  • Familiar with Microservice principles
  • Familiar with application metric tools (such as micrometer)
  • Experience building and operating services on Kubernetes
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-code (such as ansible)
  • Experience with continuous integration systems (such as  Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (such as Prometheus/Grafana, Elastic APM)
  • Experience with Alerting tools
  • Experience with log shipment/management tools (such as ELK, Fluentd, Loki)
