About Snapp


Snapp is the pioneer provider of ride-hailing mobile solutions in Iran that connects smartphone owners in need of a ride to drivers who use their private cars offering transportation services. We are ambitious, passionate, engaged, and excited about pushing the boundaries of the transportation industry to new frontiers and be the first choice of each user in Iran.


Responsibilities
 

  • Understand business objectives and help design data analysis plans to support them 
  • Collect and process data from multiple sources with SQL queries 
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to non-technical audiences 
  • Build and make changes to reporting solutions based on business requirements 
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in the data 
  • Develop and maintain documentation of analytical processes and experiments 
  • Perform ad-hoc data investigations when necessary 
  • Design, build, and maintain ML models, A/B experiments, and analysis to make data-driven decisions 
  • Maintaining lines of communication with teammates and other internal departments to ensure all data is properly communicated and addressed 

Requirements 


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field 
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role 
  • Strong proficiency in using various applications and platforms that enable data extraction, manipulation, analysis, visualization, and reporting is required 
  • Advanced SQL databases and query language skills 
  • Experience with MS Excel, A/B testing 
  • Advanced Python Skills (Data Science libraries, Visualization libraries) 
  • Advanced understanding of ML and DS contexts 
  • Experience with data science projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting 
  • Well-developed ability to communicate in English verbally and in written form 
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
