About the role:

As a Lead Product Designer with our team, your mission is to take on a pivotal role in leading and elevating the design process for specific features or products, while also driving and enhancing the overall user experience across our diverse product lines. In this position, you will orchestrate the entire design process, defining intricate project details to ensure alignment with overarching business objectives. Your responsibilities extend to providing mentorship and coaching to both mid-level and junior designers, actively contributing to their professional growth, and playing a crucial part in the hiring process to select top-tier design talent. Leveraging your expertise, you will engage in advanced user research activities, spearhead features ideation phases, and own the end-to-end design of complex UI/UX elements, setting high standards for usability and design excellence. Join us in fostering a collaborative and dynamic team environment, actively contributing to the success and development of the design team, while providing innovative design solutions that address business goals and meet user needs, ultimately shaping the future of our products and setting new industry standards.

 Responsibility:

  • Successfully lead and execute the redesign of specific features or products to enhance user satisfaction, aligning with business goals and user needs.
  • Drive the implementation of innovative design solutions across diverse product lines, demonstrating mastery in creating visually appealing and interactive digital interfaces
  • Define and implement a mentorship program for mid-level and junior designers, actively contributing to the team's productivity and skill development, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Actively contribute to the hiring process by identifying and bringing in top-tier design talent, enhancing the team's skill set and diversity through strategic talent acquisition.
  • Execute advanced user research activities to derive meaningful insights, leading to an improved overall user experience and a reduction in user issues.
  • Spearhead features ideation and successfully launch high-impact features, contributing to increased product adoption rates and shaping the strategic direction of products.
  • Own the end-to-end design of complex UI/UX elements, setting high standards for usability and design excellence, resulting in a positive impact on user engagement.
  • Foster a collaborative and dynamic team environment, actively contributing to the success and development of the design team, exhibiting inspirational leadership and a commitment to fostering innovation.
Requirements:

  • Showcase a strong portfolio with mobile-focused design examples.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of current design industry practices and trends.
  • Minimum 5 years of product design experience, including at least 1 year in a team lead role
  • Exhibit excellent design skills in layout, typography, color application, and UI principles.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective conveyance of design concepts.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Show a strong inclination for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude
  • Possess excellent time-management skills for efficient project execution.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Bring experience in e-commerce, payments, and fintech industries.
  • Utilize data insights to inform design decisions and validate hypotheses for continuous improvement.
