The role of a Business Developer (Media Revenue) is to sell advertising opportunities to potential clients and manage relationships with them – including by working with internal teams to ensure that the design and placement of the advertising meet the wishes of the client.
Responsibilities include:
•Create sales pitches and presentations to clearly present opportunities to potential clients based on their business area and needs •Contacting businesses and other potential clients to source new leads – this could be through calling, emailing, setting in person meetings and/or contacting on social media •Maintaining strong relationships with clients by making sure they are aware of all the advertising solutions offered and working with internal teams to ensure the client is happy with what is offered •Helping create a reporting structure for clients to have a clear understanding of the results they’re achieving and the progress of their campaigns •Meeting agreed sales targets
