Job Description

We are looking for a “Group Tax and SSO Supervisor” to join Snapp Group Company:

A career in our Group Tax Department practice will provide you with the opportunity to help our Ventures (sub-companies) solve their business issues related to the adoption of new tax laws, and communicating tax developments. You’ll help with assessing our Ventures Tax burden and recommend solutions that support their overall business objectives to ensure that their filling positions are consistent with good business practices and with the applicable tax laws and rules. Our team helps our Ventures transform risk and compliance related to taxes into a business advantage by aligning it with the business strategy. You’ll focus on issues related to corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, tax Incentives, etc.

Role description:

Professional skills and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Assist in the preparation of policies and guidelines related to taxes and SSO.
Conduct Tax/SSO risk assessment and draft the Internal Tax Audit Plan based on the priorities.
Conduct Internal Tax/SSO Audit and prepare reports of findings with its recommendation for each Group sub-companies.
Conduct follow-up audit to update the risks log.
Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations in matter of taxes.
Support Group entities in preparation of Tax/SSO petition and related documents.
To establish a well interaction with tax authorities.
Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in accounting, which includes at least 4 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience in audit (external and internal) is an asset.
Well familiar with broad range of taxes and SSO laws and also Iranian accounting standards and IFRS.
Deep knowledge of corporate tax laws.
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex tax laws in a business setting.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multi-task between large, complex projects.
Professional in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and high ethical standards; able to work well in a team environment and is seen as a strong team player.
Fluency in English
