About the Role

At Netbox, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead and improve the Launcher experience across the Netbox ecosystem.

Launcher is one of the most important touchpoints in the user journey — where content discovery and consumption, app access, personalization, and everyday engagement come together. This area plays a key role in improving engagement, watch time, and the overall content consumption experience.

This role is ideal for someone who can understand user behavior, work with data, and collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to build smooth, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.

This position is primarily product-focused; however, having technical understanding and experience working closely with engineering teams is considered a strong advantage and can lead to more effective decision-making.


Responsibilities

  • Own the Launcher experience end-to-end, from problem discovery to outcome evaluation
  • Define and evolve product roadmaps and priorities with a focus on engagement, retention, and user experience
  • Analyze user behavior and identify opportunities to improve navigation, content discovery, personalization, and content consumption
  • Translate business and user needs into clear and actionable product requirements
  • Make product scope and trade-off decisions while considering time, resources, and technical realities
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and data teams to improve the Launcher experience
  • Define and monitor key product metrics and drive future iterations based on data and user feedback
  • Ensure alignment between product goals and execution across teams
 

Requirements (Must-have)

Product Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Management roles
  • Proven experience owning products end-to-end and making roadmap decisions
  • Strong ability to prioritize, make decisions, and manage trade-offs in ambiguous environments
  • Experience working closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze user behavior and make data-informed decisions

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Clear and structured documentation skills
  • Ability to lead discussions and decisions without micromanagement
 

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working on VOD, Media, or Streaming products
  • Experience working on Home Experience, Launcher, Recommendation, or Personalization products
  • Familiarity with the Android or Android TV ecosystem
  • Good understanding of engagement, retention, watch time, and content discovery concepts
  • Experience working in startups or scaling environments

This role is not a good fit if you:

  • Primarily focus on execution or coding rather than product decision-making
  • Avoid accountability for product outcomes
  • Jump to solutions before fully understanding the problem
  • Prefer being a task executor rather than a decision owner
