شرح موقعیت شغلی

At Hermes Capital, we’re seeking talented computer scientists and engineers to join our team. As a Linux Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and developing solutions for Iran’s financial sector. Our flagship projects involve algorithmic trading and monitoring systems in both Stock and Crypto Markets.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree: Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in roles such as Linux Administrator or DevOps.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Linux Administration: Proficiency in managing Linux-based systems (LPIC1&2).
    • Virtualization Concepts: Familiarity with VMware ESXi and Docker.
    • Networking Knowledge: Understand VLANs, DNS, IP, SSL, routing, and switching. Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus.
    • Infrastructure Automation: Good Experience with Ansible and Bash scripting.
    • Monitoring Tools: Good Command on Grafana, Prometheus, and OpManager.
    • Logging Solutions: Exposure to ELK stack.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent judgment and analytical thinking.
  • Organizational Skills: Effective planning, organization, and time management.
  • Availability: Willingness to address emergency issues outside of regular working hours.
  • English Proficiency: Able to read and understand technical documents.
  • Certification: Any certification related to job description would be plus.
Responsibilities:


  • System Maintenance:
    • Ensure the reliable operation of computer systems, network, servers, and virtualization stack.
  • Installation and Upgrades:
    • Manage computer components and software upgrades.
  • Backup and Recovery:
    • Implement robust backup processes and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Understanding Team Requirements:
    • Begin by closely collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
    • Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies within the team’s workflows.
    • Gather insights on their needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.
  • Research and Technology Assessment:
    • Conduct thorough research on existing technologies and emerging trends.
    • Explore solutions that align with the team’s goals and address specific inefficiencies.
    • Consider factors such as scalability, ease of adoption, and integration capabilities.
