Job Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of creating efficient, scalable, and secure systems. Leveraging your deep understanding of various technologies, you will be tasked with optimizing our existing systems while playing a critical role in the design and implementation of new system architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and reduce release cycle times.
  • Work closely with the development team to facilitate the integration of new and existing systems into the AWS Cloud environment.
  • Leverage containerized technology solutions to enhance application scalability and security.
  • Develop monitoring solutions to ensure system uptime and performance.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, offering high-level solutions to infrastructure-related issues.
  • Ensure system security through the establishment of best practices in network and cloud configuration.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
  • Expertise in network architectures and services (DNS, HTTP, REST, Load Balancing, etc.).
  • Experience working with AWS Cloud services.
  • Proficiency in working with containerized technology solutions, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Skills

  • Automation and Pipelines: Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive tasks and build robust pipelines to facilitate continuous integration/continuous deployment.
  • Linux: Profound knowledge of Linux servers, including scripting and automation.
  • Networking: Deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Monitoring: Experience setting up and utilizing tools to monitor system health and performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, fostering a positive working environment.

Nice to Have

  • AWS certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
