Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sensor fusion algorithms to combine Radar and LiDAR data for feature extraction and scene understanding.
- Develop and train machine learning and deep learning models for object detection, tracking, and environment classification.
- Collaborate with embedded and firmware teams to optimize models for edge deployment on IoT devices.
- Research and prototype novel AI techniques for multi-modal perception and data enhancement.
- Analyze raw signal data and create custom pre-processing pipelines (denoising, synchronization, calibration, etc.).
- Contribute to architectural decisions on the end-to-end data pipeline, from on-device inference to cloud analytics.
- Continuously explore innovative AI approaches to maximize device intelligence and performance.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Robotics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with AI / ML development, preferably in sensor fusion, autonomous systems, or robotics.
- Strong programming skills.
- Deep understanding of Radar and LiDAR signal processing, 3D point cloud analysis, and spatiotemporal data.
- Experience in Kalman filtering, Bayesian fusion, or deep learning-based fusion approaches.
- Solid background in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization for embedded systems.
- Creative, experimental mindset – able to explore unconventional approaches and invent new solutions.
