شرح موقعیت شغلی

Overview A mid-level DevOps Engineer at our company is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our cloud-native infrastructure and applications. This role focuses on hands‑on management and continuous delivery rather than deep architectural design. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Kubernetes Application Management 
  • Operate and maintain applications running on Kubernetes clusters. 
  • Manage deployments, rollbacks, and perform day‑to‑day troubleshooting of deployed workloads. 
  • Ensure cluster health and work with operators/CRDs for custom resources. 
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development & Improvement 
  • Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines for new services. 
  • Refactor and optimize existing pipelines using native GitLab features (runners, variables, templates, child pipelines). 
  • Load Balancing & Traffic Management 
  • Configure and maintain edge load balancers (primarily NGINX; HAProxy experience is a plus). 
  • Validate and tune configurations for availability and performance. 
  • Monitoring & Alerting 
  • Work with Prometheus to monitor cluster and application metrics. 
  • Integrate with our multi‑tenant VictoriaMetrics setup and manage alerting rules. 
  • Create grafana and kibana dashboards. 
  • Logging & Observability 
  • Maintain and Manage Elasticsearch clusters (scaling, ILM , ). 
  • Manage log collection and transformation pipelines using Vector (primary), Logstash, or Fluentd. 
  • Message Brokers 
  • Operate and troubleshoot RabbitMQ clusters. 
  • Being familiar with kafka is a plus. 
  • Container & Build Systems 
  • Author and maintain Dockerfiles. 
  • Manage GitLab Runners and Docker build processes. 
  • Platform & Supporting Services 
  • Administer our GitLab self‑hosted instance, Sentry, Rancher. 
  • Ansible Automation 
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for VMs configuration management, and routine maintenance tasks. 
  • General Linux Administration 
  • Perform routine Linux system administration tasks. 
  • Handle upgrades, package management, user management, logs, and basic performance checks using automation tools such as ansible, terraform,etc. 
Required Qualifications 

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands‑on Kubernetes management (deployments & troubleshooting). 
  • CI/CD: Proficient in GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and GitLab administration. 
  • Containers & Build environment: Solid understanding of Docker, Dockerfiles, and GitLab Runners, buildkit, docker-in-docker. 
  • Monitoring: Practical experience with Prometheus and promQL. 
  • Logging: Familiarity with Elasticsearch cluster operations and log pipeline tools (Vector, Logstash, Fluentd). 
  • Networking: Knowledge of load balancers (NGINX, HAProxy) and core network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP,HTTPS,TLS). 
  • Message Queues: Working knowledge of RabbitMQ. 
  • Linux: Strong administration skills (LPIC-2). 
  • APIs & Automation: Comfortable using REST APIs and writing simple automation scripts (Bash, Python, or equivalent). 
Preferred (But Not Mandatory) 

  • Scripting & Development: Experience with Python, Golang, or advanced Bash scripting. 
  • Kubernetes Operators & CRDs: Familiarity with configuring operators.
