blu Bank is seeking a talented BI Developer to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a key part in helping us unlock the power of our data to make smarter decisions and achieve our strategic goals. You'll leverage your analytical skills and collaborative spirit to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders across the bank to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Develop and implement BI solutions that deliver clear and concise information to inform decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to ensure accurate and reliable data flow.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to a broad audience.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in BI and data visualization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the technical infrastructure supports our BI needs.
- Document processes and solutions effectively for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
- Proven experience with essential technologies including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB, as well as preferably with Oracle and columnar data storage solutions like ClickHouse.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python (including libraries like Pandas, Polars, and Matplotlib) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with BI visualization tools like Metabase, Kibana, and Grafana (a plus).
- Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear and concise language for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for data and a dedication to continuous learning.
