Job mission


As a SCRUM Master at OKala you help the development teams to deliver value for our customers. By facilitating and challenging the team you will help them reach their sprint goal. A focus on relentless improvement, makes sure the team and the department will be working better every sprint. To achieve this, you will be working closely together with Product Owners and the Development Teams.

Responsibilities



  • Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile standards and best practices like: Lean, Kanban, Scrum
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Work with Product Owners in providing insight into the scrum process for the organization (the status, the product / sprint backlog and demos)
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
  • Support the learning process to become a high performing, self-managing team and helping with setting goals and achieving them.
 

Requirements


  • Experienced in a dedicated scrum master role for at least 2 years
  • Degree in Computer Science, Industry, Management or similar fields
  • Good skills in communication, servant leadership and facilitation
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks like Kanban, SAFe
  • Curious and always willing to learn: a mindset you also encourage others to follow
  • Scrum master certification is a plus
