Job description
We at Badesaba are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to elevate our scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure to the next level. If you are passionate about tackling complex infrastructure challenges, automation, and enhancing system performance while creating an exceptional user experience, we’d love to work with you!
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate and enhance software delivery quality
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based infrastructure
- Maintain and manage infrastructure for development, testing, deployment, and system support
- Implement and enhance monitoring and logging tools to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Create and optimize development and testing environments for software teams
- Research and adopt cutting-edge techniques and tools to improve development and deployment processe
- Automate deployment, updates, and infrastructure management processes
- Implement security methods and tools based on Best Practices to protect data and infrastructure
- Document processes thoroughly and continuously update tools and infrastructure
- Participate in On-Call rotations and manage critical incidents
- Peform advanced troubleshooting and system log analysis to resolve issues
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in Unix/Linux systems and their architecture
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Go, or Bash
- Strong knowledge of Networking concepts
- Expertise in Containerization tools like Docker or Containerd
- Experience with Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Strong troubleshooting and log analysis skills
- Experience with web servers such as Nginx, Apache, or Traefik
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and integrating security into development processes
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge and experience in Clustering and database Tuning
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
