What You’ll Do

As a senior react/next.js front-end developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality web applications using React and Next.js frameworks. You will work with a team of talented developers, designers, and product managers to deliver user-friendly, performant, and scalable solutions. You will also contribute to code reviews, testing, documentation, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement front-end features and components using React and Next.js
Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to ensure a seamless integration of data and UI
Optimize web applications for speed, accessibility, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility
Troubleshoot and debug issues and ensure code quality and maintainability
Write unit tests and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or other tools
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of professional experience in front-end development using React and Next.js
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux
Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass
Experience with CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS
Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) using Next.js or other methods
Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Rollup
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Portfolio or GitHub link showcasing previous projects.
