What You’ll Do

As a software test engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and services. You will use your full stack development skills and testing tools to design, implement, and execute manual and automated tests for both front-end and back-end features. You will also collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve any issues or defects.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze software specifications and requirements.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and test data.
Perform functional, non-functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing using manual and automated methods.
Use testing tools such as Postman, Fast API, Selenium, Jest, Cypress, or other tools to test web applications and APIs.
Identify, report, and track software defects and issues.
Provide feedback and suggestions for software improvement and enhancement.
Document and communicate test results and findings.
Stay updated with the latest testing trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
3+ years of professional experience in full stack development using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, Django, or other frameworks.
Proficient in using testing tools such as Postman, Fast API, Selenium, Jest, Cypress, or other tools.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and standards
Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, and precision in testing.
Portfolio or GitHub link showcasing previous projects and tests.
