Miare is a hyper-growing fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers. Miare allows restaurants, grocers, and retailers to enable eCommerce fulfillment for their first-party experiences. You’ll be driving the overall growth and performance of the zones you are responsible for, working cross-functionally with teams at Miare to solve problems and seize growth opportunities
The Role
As a Growth and Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing the strategy to grow your region. Your role will be commercially focused, however you will work cross-functionally with teams including operations, marketing and product to ensure local success across merchants, customer and rider metrics. You’ll manage a team of sales and account management executives whose objective is to grow our partners’ businesses.
What you'll be doing:
Owning the strategic vision and developing the operational plan
Manage P&L for your region to ensure achieving profit targets
Managing, motivating, and ensuring stellar execution from a team of field-basis business development and commercial managers
Being the face of Miare to top merchant partners - establishing and maintaining key relationships with our top merchants
Liaising with our merchant and rider operations teams to drive efficiencies
Working with your team to accelerate revenue growth
Requirements
3-7 years working in commercial focused roles with P&L responsibility
Experience managing medium-sized commercial teams, including remote workers
Comfortable managing negotiations with business owners or C-suite operators
Effective relationship-building and communication skills should the communications be face to face, through phone or via email
Extremely analytical and have a passion for detail and data crunching
Experience working with inside sales and telemarketing teams would be beneficial
Preferred but not required
General management experience, or experience running your own business
