About the team

Data is at the foundation of Miare success. The Data & Analytics team builds solutions for various use cases including reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization and financial reporting. By implementing dashboards, data structures, and data processing architecture this team serves as the foundation for decision-making at Miare.

About the role

Miare is looking for a Data Analyst, to enable decision-makers in Miare for data-driven decision making, and also to perform analytical tasks in areas where key decisions are being made.
The role requires advanced analytical skills, hands-on approach on analytical tools, business sense and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deep analysis of business problems
Translation of business problems into data problems
Defining metrics and indicators and analyzing success of tests and initiatives
Analysis and specification of self-serving data tools for different decision-making layers
Enabling and coaching decision-makers in different layers for use of self-serving data tools

Requirements

Advanced problem solving skills
Storytelling (with data) skills
Knowledge and skills of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses and related tools and methods
Team work skills
Practical experience with at least one common BI tool (preferably Apache Superset)
Familiarity with at least one querying language

Nice to Have

Familiarity with common methods of business analysis in tech industry
Advanced MS Excel skills
Familiarity with R or data-related tools in python
Familiarity with data science
University degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, industrial engineering or MBA
