Mediana is in search of an IT Help Desk Specialist to support and drive improvements across our rapidly expanding product range.

- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software, ensuring optimal workstation performance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, LAN, and peripheral devices.
- Conduct regular maintenance and preventive checks on hardware and server environments to prevent issues.
- Manage and respond to customer support tickets efficiently, providing hands-on resolution for technical queries.
- Stay updated with the latest system changes and technology updates.
- Document technical support activities and generate detailed reports on network support actions.
- Provide guidance and support for purchasing computer and network equipment tailored to retail environments.
- Engage with users to troubleshoot problems with computers and peripheral devices, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Continuously follow up with users to confirm that their technical issues are resolved.
Required Skills:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or a similar role.
- Strong familiarity with operating systems including Windows (7, 10), Linux, and macOS.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office versions 2010 through 2019 and desktop administration.
- Knowledgeable in VoIP, video conferencing technologies, wireless communications, and network setups.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and an understanding of passive networking.
- A passion for new technology with a proactive approach to IT research.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities, accountability, and a trustworthy demeanor.
