شرح موقعیت شغلی

Responsibilities

  • Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
  • Maintain best practices for managing systems and services across all environments
  • T-Shoot, and analyze log information for reporting performance exceptions
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Develop automation strategies and deployment processes
Requirements

  • Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator or Infrastructure engineer (at least 5 years)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar relevant degree 
  • Expert in Configuration management tools (Ansible)
  • Depth knowledge of Linux: Ubuntu, Debian
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL and/or SQL, PostgreSQL 
  • Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to script in languages such as Bash or Python
Familiarity with:

  • Nginx and HAproxy
  • Virtualization Technologies (ESXi)
  • Containerization Technologies (Docker)
  • Alerting, logging, and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP, and SNMP
  • Additional Linux certifications (LPIC) will be considered an advantage
  • VOD Platform
About the Role

requires a strong understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and system security, as well as the ability to work with a variety of tools and technologies to maintain and support Linux-based infrastructure and be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Linux-based computer systems. Their job duties may include installing and upgrading Linux systems and software, establishing and maintaining user accounts, monitoring system performance, implementing security measures, and troubleshooting system and network issues.
