شرح موقعیت شغلی

We are looking for an experienced Platform engineer to join our growing tech department. In this role, the focus is providing an innovative infrastructure to enable engineering using the latest orchestration, automation, and productivity technologies. You will partner closely with product teams to leverage the new infrastructure. The end goal is maximizing developer productivity and a secure & stable infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and implementing a robust, secure infrastructure using leading orchestration, automation, and other tools and techniques
  • Documenting current architecture and mapping migration plans 
  • Collaborating with product teams on migration to the new infrastructure
  • Implementing developer tools for CI/CD, monitoring, logging, optimization, and more
  • Ensuring adherence to scalability, stability, and security best practices
  • Continuously improving documentation, architecture, code, and processes
  • Building internal platforms to increase engineering efficiency 
  • Owning the full lifecycle of the infrastructure powering engineering
Requirements:

  • Experienced in managing Linux systems 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for network/performance issues on Linux servers
  • Excellent scripting and debugging skills in Bash and Python 
  • Knowledge of virtualization tools and concepts 
  • Strong grasp of containerization tools and concepts
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts and components
  • Hands-on experience setting up, managing, and administering Kubernetes clusters
  • Familiarity with software-defined storage like Ceph 
  • Solid understanding of networking and web basics like TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, HTTP 
  • Knowledge of web servers, reverse proxies, load balancers like Nginx and HAProxy 
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and GitOps 
  • Experienced in setting up monitoring solutions using open source tools 
  • Experienced in Implementing log management for high volume systems 
  • Expert with Git version control 
  • Experienced with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins 
  • Good programming and debugging skills in Go or Python 
  • Familiarity with database orchestration
  • Understanding of security best practices 
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation

Work model:
On-site, Sat. to Wed. 8:30-17:00, with a flexibility of an hour
Location: Nelson Mandela (Jordan), before Mirdamad Bridge, Shahid Amdi Alley
