About the Role

We’re looking for a mid-level .NET Developer to join our growing team at kingkode studio. You'll work on real-time multiplayer games, backend infrastructure, internal tools, and scalable systems with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and maintainability.

If you're passionate about solving challenges in game networking, designing RESTful services, and building scalable and high-performance systems — this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side logic using ASP.NET Core
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external services
Implement real-time communication features to support dynamic and responsive systems
Design and maintain data models using widely-used relational and in-memory databases
Apply modern software architecture patterns and principles in system design and development
Develop internal admin tools and dashboards for game operations
Optimize system performance for large-scale concurrent users
Contribute to architectural planning and tech direction
Maintain clean, modular, and testable code

Required Skills

Strong command of C# and ASP.NET Core
Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with WebSockets or SignalR
Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Redis
Familiarity with architectural patterns like Clean Architecture, DDD (Domain-Driven Design), Microservices, Monoliths, and Modular Monoliths
Familiarity with either React or Angular
Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreading
Comfortable working with Git and modern team workflows
Experience debugging and profiling high-load systems
