Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our network systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in network engineering, with additional proficiency in DevOps practices.


Responsibilities:

 

●       Designing and implementing network solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and security standards.

●       Configuring and maintaining network devices such as Cisco switches, FortiGate firewalls, and HP servers.

●       Managing network virtualization using VMware vSphere and ensuring high availability and performance.

●       Monitoring and troubleshooting network issues using tools like Zabbix, Splunk, and monitoring protocols.

●       Implementing and maintaining secure remote access solutions such as VPN and VoIP.

●       Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and manage network services in cloud environments.

●       Configuring and optimizing storage systems, including EMC SAN storage and Synology NAS storage.

●       Administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL databases.

●       Implementing backup and restore strategies using tools like Veeam.

●       Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior network engineers.

●       Working with flexible hours and under pressure to meet project deadlines and resolve critical network issues.

 

Requirements:

●       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

●       Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in network engineering.

●       Proficient in working with VMware vSphere, Veeam backup and restore, Zabbix, Cisco switches, FortiGate       firewalls, Splunk, Linux, Windows Server, VPN, VoIP, HP servers, EMC SAN storage, Synology NAS storage, and Microsoft SQL.

●       Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.

●       Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud networking concepts.

●       Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

●       Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and experience with tools like Ansible and GitLab.

●       Familiarity with web application security, including Cloudflare and WAF technologies.

●       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

●       Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

●       Willingness to work in flexible hours and handle pressure during critical network incidents or project deadlines.
