Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full mobile application development lifecycle
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with external data sources and APIs
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Kotlin
- Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming principles
- knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with common software design patterns and their usages
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack components such as Navigation
- Understanding of material design principles and interface guidelines
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- knowledge of Dependency Injection principles, and frameworks such as Koin
- Understanding of version control software such as Git
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Excellent communication skills
